    Hervé Bossin is Senior Scientist and Medical Entomologist at Institut Louis Malardé in Tahiti, French Polynesia. He received is Ph.D. in Biology and Microbiology from University of Montpellier and his MBA from The Open University in the UK. His research focuses on the development and field evaluation of innovative strategies for the surveillance and sustainable control of insect pests of medical and economic importance, principally mosquito vectors of diseases. Hervé has been working on Tetiaroa since 2007. His ongoing field studies to suppress Aedes biting nuisance using Wolbachia harness the latest discoveries in evolutionary biology.
