My name is Kristine N. White and I am finishing up my PhD at the Gulf Coast Research Lab in Mississippi, USA. I have been working on developing species-level molecular markers for representative amphipod species in the family Leucothoidae as well as a morphological character analysis and preliminary phylogeny of the family. On Moorea I will be helping to collect and identify amphipods.
