Fees are reviewed each year and can change without notice.

Researchers

Our researcher rates are effective as of 1 January 2004 and are only applicable for individual researchers (see below for classes). Rates are quoted in CFP, Pacific Francs, which are fixed to the Euro. Various housing options are available to researchers.

Researchers keep track of their use of the facilities (you are responsible for keeping a log of your use of vehicles, boats etc.).  At the end of your stay, you should fill in the use statement and your invoice will be generated at check-out. If for some reason you are unable to check-out, you may email the use statement to Neil Davies when you get home. You will then be sent a final invoice for payment.

Classes

For classes, the Station charges a flat rate that includes: student accommodation, one faculty housing unit, use of labs, vehicles, and boats, all meals, and a class coordinator (for logistics).  Rates are discounted on a sliding scale (see rate calculator) for larger groups staying for longer periods.  Interested professors should send details of their proposed class and preferred dates to Frank Murphy.

Conferences

For conferences, the Station charges a flat rate per participant that includes: lecture room, LCD/slide projectors, accommodation, basic catering, local transport and coordination of activities in Moorea. Receptions, cocktails, simultaneous translation, dance shows, tours, and other special events are available on request.  Conference organizers should send details of their proposed event and preferred dates to Frank Murphy.

Billing

Classes must pay a 10% deposit to confirm the registration and full payment is due 1 month prior to arrival (please let us know if you have any difficulty meeting these requirements).

Individual researchers can pay at check-out (credit card payments will be available in the near future).

Checks in US dollars (converted at the exchange rate on the date of the invoice) should be made payable to the University of California Regents and sent to:
