Long Term Ecological Research on Moorea's Coral Reef

A round table organized by Drs. Rene Galzin and Neil Davies bringing together an international group of coral reef researchers working out of the CRIOBE and Gump stations. The purpose of the round table was to explore the opportunities created by the recent award of a US National Science Foundation Long Term Ecological Research site to Moorea (Moorea Coral Reef LTER; Presentation du Moorea Coral Reef LTER). After a day of discussions among researchers, the second day addressed broader issues related to coral reef science with the participation of French Polynesian natural resource managers, conservation groups, and government agencies.
