Graduate Student Fellowships

The Gump Station has supported numerous graduate students in Moorea over the years through various funding sources.  Current opportunities (2009-2010) are listed below:

NGS International Ecostations

A grant from the National Geographic Society Mission Programs provides funding for select graduate students each year to cover their user fees at the Gump Station.  The fellowships are open to students from any institution.  See International Ecostations page for a list of past awardees.  Please contact Neil Davies for application details.

Moorea Biocode Project

Graduate students whose research includes the sampling of biodiversity on Moorea and genetic analyses might be eligible for support from the Moorea Biocode Project.  Contact contact Neil Davies for application details.
