Field Courses

The Gump Station is a perfect facility for field courses in a variety of disciplines. The (optional) meals are prepared by a local family who run a catering service which offers a nice blend of Polynesian and European cuisine.

Field courses are coordinated by Assoc. Director Frank Murphy who has many years of experience in running field courses in French Polynesia and elsewhere.

Professors from any recognized academic institution can apply to run a field course at the Gump Station.
